Why does it seem that the most traditional minded of Catholics are often the most prone to leading double-lives? They are quick to trumpet the demands of the faith as applicable to others, while excusing themselves from the observance of its tenets and practices. It is 'liberal' Catholicism in reverse. Both 'brands' end the same: professing belief while doing something other.
The antidote to 'brand' Catholicism is to follow the 'mind of the Church' , 'to think with the Church, sentire cum ecclesia.' (St. Ignatius of Loyola)
